Canoeing and kayaking near Cabrerets - St Cirq Lapopie
Close to your gîte rental in Cabrerets (5 minutes by car to be precise), on the road towards Cahors or St Cirq Lapopie you will find the leisure centre Kalapca.
Located at the confluence of the Lot and Célé rivers, Kalapca invites you to come down the Célé by canoe or kayak, with free hire.

When you take one of these itineraries, you go to Cabreretsbelow your gîte! Then you'll head for the Kalapca base a little further down at Conduché, at the confluence of the Célé and Lot rivers.
- From Marcilhac / Célé: 22 km route, hire for the day.
- From Créagols or Liauzu: a 7/8km route (2/3 hours).
- From Cabrerets: 4km or 1 hour.
Canoeing and kayaking on the Lot around St Cirq Lapopie
On one of these routes you can admire Saint Cirq Lapopie from the Lot! Then you'll reach the confluence of the Célé and Lot rivers.
- From Larnagol or Monteils: 17km route, allow 4/5 hours.
- From Cenevières or Sauliac: 12/14km route (3/4 hour).
- From St Cirq Lapopie: 4km route, 1h/.
